Rapid Prototyping – Formlabs Roadshow
Phil Cook is presenting ‘Product Design and the Appropriate use of Technology’ at the Formlabs Roadshow. Phil is discussing how to use modern digital workflows whilst retaining traditional design skills such as sketching and model making. The aim is to use both new and traditional methods in tandem to maximize creativity and efficiency. Using the latest technology when conventional methods are more effective is clearly not effective. Neither is relying on a traditional ‘we’ve always done it this way’ approach.
Phil is showing projects for Johnston Sweepers and REM UK to demonstrate where the extensive use of rapid prototyping has been beneficial. 3D Printer manufacturer Formlabs and Rhino software reseller Simply Rhino have organised this event.
