Control Interface – BucherMunicipal
We’ve worked with Bucher Municipal (previously known as Johnston Sweepers) for over twenty years, and this is the third generation of the control interface for their truck mounted sweepers with Industrial Design by Form Foundry.
The Door Controller, used to control the most frequently used sweeping functions, is a slim injection moulded housing with an integrated elastomeric keypad designed to create a sleek, unobtrusive appearance. The HMI screen is modular and is adapted from an existing commercially available display which has been customised with plug in switch modules to allow for bespoke configurations depending on the vehicle type and customer requirements.
Our involvement was from initial concept designs through to detailed 3D CAD for prototyping and tooling. More details coming soon..
